Don’t forget to pack a bathing suit for the beach or the hotel pool.

3. Appropriate footwear

Choose airy, comfortable footwear that keeps your feet rested and happy. You can choose strappy sandal designs that complement your ensemble and shoes that fit well. 

4. Electronics

While disconnecting might be a vacation goal, it’s good to have your essential electronics and their associated chargers with you on your journey. A pair of noise-cancelling headphones, your phone, camera and perhaps a Kindle to read your favourite stories on, could be invaluable. 

5. Medical kit

You may not require this, but it’s always better to have one, just in case. Carry antiseptic wipes, bandages, painkillers, allergy tablets, and paracetamol apart from any prescription medicines that you might take. 

The best way to ensure that you don’t leave any essential items behind is to make a list and tick them off as they go into your bag. This way, all your summer essentials travel with you and you can enjoy your vacation without worry!
